The Tampere Market Vendors Association was founded back in 1948 and continues to keep market culture alive and well with the support of over 60 active members. The association’s main goal is to develop and strengthen Tampere’s marketplaces and to preserve a vibrant market tradition in close cooperation with the city and local vendors. By organizing annual markets, events, and community activities, the association plays a key role in promoting and advancing the city’s market culture.
